The Puto Bumbong is a delicacy made from rice and ube (purple yam) that is cooked with steam while it is fitted inside a small bamboo tube. It is best served with grated coconut meat and muscovado (raw sugar obtained from sugar cane). A pair costs P20.

The Bibingka on the other hand is also a rice cake mixed with cocounut milk and is cooked under a charcoal grill and served with a slice of salted egg and margarine. The smoked flavor ads zest to its taste. The authentic bibingka is about 6 inches in diameter. Sold at P50 per cake.

The Suman is a bar of glutinous rice wrapped around a coconut leaves with a sticky texture and is also served with muscovado. Sold at P20.

You would be surprised that however they are all made of rice, they taste distinctively different over the other. A Filipino Christmas would not be complete without having to taste these delicacies.
