The Philippines is located right at the edge of the Pacific Ring of Fire, an area to where active volcanoes are prevalent. And when there are volcanoes, there is definitely a hot spring.
Hot springs are a result of natural water systems springing out at the base of a mountain or volcano that are heated as they pass by above a lava bed under a volcano. And the most soothing hot springs are those that are just right above the normal human temperature of 37 degrees celsius. We have been to two hot springs in the Visayas and Northern Mindanao which exactly meet the criteria.
