Green ATS Bulalohan

March 2, 2012

The best place it to eat is to have the best tasting food and a great scenery. Green ATS Bulalohan has it all. From one of the best bulalohan at Tagaytay City, you also get the best angle and view of Taal Volcano below.

Although, I haven't tried any Bulalohan in Tagaytay except for Green ATS which makes this article seem of a bit of bias for Green ATS,  the reason why I go to this restaurant when I crave for Bulalo is due to the Taal Volcano view.

The average expense when dining in to this restaurant is about P200/person. The dining area is not enclosed and not airconditioned however the area is maintained clean and there is no insect flying around whenever I eat here. By the way, I am a regular at this restaurant. Dining in at about 3-5 times per year whenever I dig Bulalo.

Seats are available for everyone except the for the elevated one within a hut requires you to spend at least P1000 if you want to seat there.

The favorite we have here is of course bulalo (beef shank soup) and to add some thrill to it, you can order the Sizzling Bulalo which is cooked the same way as a regular bulalo then everything (the beef and vegetables) are removed from the soup and served on a sizzling plate. The soup is served on a separate bowl.

Regular Bulalo served on soup.

The sizzling bulalo costs P375 per serving  and is good for 2-4 people.

Fresh coconut juice right from the coconut costs P35.00.

This restaurant is usually our favorite place to dine at after a hike from Mt. Batulao and Talamitam or at Mt. Maculot if we are coming back to Tagaytay as our route.

The Green ATS Bulalohan is beyond the Tagaytay town proper if you are coming from the junction and is a 9 kilometers before the Nasugbu, Batangas - Tagaytay City arch.
